Meet Kate Rose, the founder of Rose Motherhood:
Hey friends, I’m Kate.
I’m a mother of three boys, a holistic doula, a licensed massage therapist, and a birth photographer— but Rose Motherhood is much more than just me now. It’s growing into the village I always wished existed for mothers.
I began this path after the homebirth of my first son cracked me wide open. That experience lit a fire in me to walk with women through birth— not to manage or control it, but to protect its wild wisdom. Over the years, I’ve supported more than 150 births, and every one of them has reaffirmed this truth: when women are trusted, when birth is respected, transformation happens.
Rose Motherhood is the heart-home where that trust lives. It’s now becoming a collective of birthworkers— a gathering of women who support one another as we support you. Whether you’re looking for birth support, photography, healing touch, or education, our collective exists to meet you in your power and walk beside you with reverence.
In addition to working with local families, I also guide women through Birth Alchemy, my childbirth preparation program that centers intuition and sovereignty, and I mentor aspiring birthworkers through a deeply personal, immersive apprenticeship program.
I believe your birth matters— not just the outcome, but how you’re treated, how you’re held, how you feel. I created Rose Motherhood so that no woman has to walk this path alone, and so that every birth might serve the evolution of the mother.
