✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Most students complete the Birth Work Studies portion of the program within three to six months, depending on their pace and available time. The content is self-paced, but the program is designed to encourage steady progress and intentional engagement. Once you’ve completed the coursework and received your certification, you’ll enter a one-year mentorship period during which you’ll be supported as you work with your first three clients.

  • No, this program is completely virtual. I believe in my ability to support you virtually through your studies, business development, and as you support 3 different women throughout their childbearing year.

I am also strongly opposed to inviting additional people into any woman's birth space. Birth is such a sacred experience. It is my desire that each woman only has attendants that she connects with on a soul-level in her birth space. I would never put a woman in a position where she felt in any way obligated to allow an extra person into her sacred space.

  • Your calls are thoughtfully scheduled at key points throughout the program to align with what you’ve been studying. You’ll be prompted within the course content when it’s time to schedule each session, ensuring our conversations are timely and relevant to where you are in your journey. These calls are designed to offer the most value and clarity based on the material you’ve completed. There is one call at the end of your birth work studies and there are two calls nested into the business development portion of the course.

In addition to the scheduled calls, I may also choose to host debrief sessions after each of your three client births, once you’ve completed the Birth Work Studies and entered the mentorship phase.

  • No, certification is not legally required to practice as a doula. The Rose Motherhood Doula Certificate is offered as a meaningful recognition of your completion of the program, but it is not tied to any regulatory body. You are free to begin supporting women in your community with the knowledge, tools, and confidence you've cultivated here.

Unlike many programs, I do not require recertification or renewal. Once you’ve earned your certification, it is yours for life — no ongoing fees, no expiration dates, and no hoops to jump through.

  • Absolutely! I'd be happy to send you $50 for each friend who signs up for the program (as long as they let me know it was you who referred them). Once you have completed the program, you may reach out to me if you are interested in being an affiliate for it.

  • Instead of traditional payment plans, this program is offered through a flexible subscription model. You can choose between a one-time payment for six months of access or a month-to-month option. This allows you to find a pace and payment structure that works for your needs while staying accountable to your progress.

  • Due to the nature of this program and the immediate access to course materials and mentorship, all sales are final and non-refundable.

  • This apprenticeship is built on mutual respect, personal responsibility, and sacred trust. I reserve the right to revoke access to course materials, mentorship, or continued participation in the program if a student is acting in a way that is harmful, dishonest, or out of alignment with the values of this container.

This includes (but is not limited to) plagiarism, breach of confidentiality, unethical behavior with clients, or disrespectful communication. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for all who participate — and I hold that standard with care.
